Anglesey Transport Museum

Tacla Taid, the Anglesey Transport and Agriculture Museum, is the largest of its kind in Wales. It has seasonal opening.

The museum has well over 100 vehicles, tractors, cars, motorcycles, push bikes, static engines, trucks and military vehicles. Also many pieces of motoring memorabilia. Recently the museum obtained a Hawker Hunter aircraft as their Gate Guardian from nearby RAF Valley.

There is a large café onsite which has homemade cakes, hot meals and a variety of proper coffees.

Many events are held throughout the open season, from the beginning of March until the end of October, all events published on their Facebook page.

There are also caravan hardstanding facilities. Later in 2018 the museum will have glamping vehicles to hire in their 1944 Leyland Hippo, and converted Forward Control Land Rover.
