Lakeland Motor Museum

Lakeland boasts a fine collection of cars, motor cycles and automobilia in a purpose built location in the Lake District. In an adjoining building there is a tribute to Malcolm and Donald Campbell in the form of a full sized replica of the 1935 Bluebird Land Speed car.

The Museum has increased its size in its new location and this has afforded extra vehicles to be displayed. One of my favourites is the Africar project, built in Lancaster but never in volume production.

Amongst the microcars is a rare Peel P50 and a Peel Trident. These were made in the Isle of Man. Another beauty is a 1963 Humber Hawk Estate Car in superb condition.

Regular Club events are held at the Museum.
