Manchester Museum of Road Transport

A good collection of municipal vehicles including coaches, buses and cars.
Operated by volunteers from the Greater Manchester Transport Society.

The volunteers have had their efforts recognised by H.M. Queen. The Society were awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award a voluntary group can receive.

The Society has put special focus on supporting people with learning difficulties to become active volunteers.
