Shuttleworth Collection

Primarily an aircraft museum, the Shuttleworth Collection in Bedfordshire does include a Vehicle section although they tend to be scattered amongst the aircraft. One of my favourite exhibits is here; a gorgeous 1930 Railton convertible in aqua blue. Lots of really old cars as well. In 2016 the museum has acquired two unique examples of pre 1925 Edwardian buses. The 1921 "Charabus" single decker bus and the 1913 Wellingborough Leyland with body by Birch Bros. These buses are an important addition to the Transport exhibits of the Shuttleworth Museum.
