STONDON MOTOR MUSEUM

Stondon Motor Museum closed at Easter, 2015. Following the death of its founder, John Saunder in 2013. The entire vehicle collection is being auctioned by Brightwells of Leominster. John opened the Museum in 1994 and added many vehicles including tanks,, over the years. He bought a former Garden Centre at Henlow in Bedfordshire and converted it into one of the largest Motor Museums in the UK. An unusual exhibit was a full size replica of Captain Cook’s ship, HM Bark Endeavour.
