Prince Philip RIP

Always a keen environmental person, Prince Philip used a London Taxi as personal transport in and around London for some years.

His driver could take him to appointments in his Taxi with no fuss and his Metro cab ran on liquefied petroleum gas rather than diesel.

After 18 years of service in 2017 the Metro cab was donated to the collection of Royal Cars at Sandringham Museum in Norfolk where it stands amongst many former Royal Household Vehicles.

Always a keen motoring enthusiast, Prince Philip requested that his final journey at Windsor Castle will be taken using a Land Rover.

May he rest in peace.
